Terms of use

This is a translation for convenience; the German version is legally binding.

These terms apply to the Loopmate toolbox at portal.loopmate.de, offered by Maximilian Beutel, Ringstraße 14, 55576 Pleitersheim, Germany (see legal notice).

Test phase

The toolbox is in a test phase. We activate accounts on purpose: for now by invitation, later through a waiting list. Whether and when we activate an account is our decision. The scope, duration and terms of use, including whether and what it costs, we agree with you in person before you start. We set an allowance for agent runs per account; when it is used up, the agent waits until we set a new one together.

What the toolbox does

On your request, agents create films, presentations and other results. Results of AI may contain errors. Check them before you use or publish them; you are responsible for how you use them. During the test phase, features may change and the toolbox may at times be unavailable.

Your content

You upload only content you are allowed to use, and no content that breaks laws or the rights of others. Your content and the results belong to you; we use them only to carry out your jobs and do not pass them on, except to the service providers named in the privacy statement.

Your account

Keep your password secret. We may block an account that is misused or breaks these terms. You can delete your account at any time in your account.

Liability

We are liable without limit for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body and health and under the German Product Liability Act.

For slight negligence we are liable only when we breach a duty that makes the use of the toolbox possible in the first place and on which you may rely, and only for the foreseeable, typical damage. If you are a business, this liability is also limited to the fees you paid for the use in the twelve months before the damage. Otherwise we are not liable for slight negligence.

Results of the agents are drafts that you check before you use them. For damage that arises because a result was used or published without being checked, we are liable only under the rules above. Keep your own copies of your material and your results; for lost data we are liable only for the effort of restoring it from those copies.

These rules also apply to the people we use to fulfil our duties.

Changes

If we change these terms, we tell you before your next use; you can then agree or delete your account. German law applies.
